Mirage Questions

I have a Mirage on order. I don't know when it will arrive but I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is before Christmas.

Now my question: Does this torch need to sit further away from the wall than my Piranha?

right now my torch sits 3 feet from the wall which is backed by a stainless steel sheet. Will I need to pull my table out from the wall a little further. I don't plan on running this torch full out - I am going to have to grow into that aspect. Just curious about the heat, etc.

I also know I am going to have upgrade on the ventilation and that is a whole nother set of issues :)

Yes. Much further away. I would move it at least a foot more away. Those things can get long flames.

Yes, I think 4 feet is good. If you want, I will go measure the distance between my Mirage torch end and the window it faces. It is right around 3-4 feet.
I use alot of my outerfire and so far the window has held up pretty good :-)
