Is there a gold wire that I can melt with a torch onto my beads? If so where can I get some from?

Any suggestions on other materials that I could use to get a gold look onto a bead.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Debbie:-)

Have you tried gold leaf? It's beautiful.

In terms of wire I'm not too sure. I know leaf and bezel wire for fuming are something like 22K. Even if gold wire were compatible (which I suspect it is) I think it would be outrageously expensive.

You can use 22kt gold wire. I remember reading somewhere, sometime that 22kt was better than 24kt for use in the flame. I have a pic here somewhere from an older vessel.... Hold on...

Got it! It's gold leaf and 22kt gold wire on Rubino Oro.

Wow, Tink - that is gorgeous and I am usually not even a gold person!
