My DH built this for me last night. Prior to this we had the funnel on the table in front of my torch and I was not happy at all with how it was working.

We will be moving this into the closet as soon as the heating guy comes and runs a pipe for the propane into there. (For now I am doing the lug it in and out thing)
Here is my glass storage. My shelf is sagging. This will be moving into wooden shelves in the closet too.
The top shelf is boro. The middle shelf is Reich. and Urorboros and the bottom shelf is 104.

Your hood box looks soooo much better than mine...:pout:
Mine is a prototype and when DH gets time he will make me the same one out of sheetmetal..
I find that this hobby is an ever EVOLVING one. There is always something new to add or change or let go of and some new avenue of glassworking to wander down.
It took me two days to figure out how to get my shield out of my way when I was torching. When I finally secured it on top of the box I almost cried because it was just such an easy thing to do and so easy to solve my problem. I kept trying to attach it to the workbench!! Never occured to me it go elsewhere.
Sometimes I cannot see the forest for the trees.....That is why I love these forums, they really have all kinds of help and sympathy too, right at our fingertips.
Fun, but can be frustrating and exhausting not mention expensive and time consuming. But at least it keeps me outta trouble...well, except for the shopping for glass and supplies part!
Happy Hoildays

Hi Debbie! Looks good! I bet you can't wait untill its all finished. Look at all your glass!!!
My studio is a constant work in progress! Lorraine, my shield drove me crazy until I found a solution for it. Now its fine, but your setup looks even better!

Mary, I thought I was alone in the shield bothering me sooo much. Resting the bottom on top really allows for me to raise and lower it easily. I like it there so much better than on the workbench.
Debbie, can't wait to see your new set up. It is really not fun to have to move and set up every time you want to torch... Done that been there, so I know first hand.
Looking forward to more pictures...
Happy holidays Everyone

How are you attaching the shield? I am having trouble with that.
Does anyone know of a supplier for larger shields?
