I have a graphic on my home page that's from smileycentral I think. I was able to delete one of them, but not the second one. How do I get rid of it?

I was also trying to put the link to myohmy shops and I got the logo but somehow lost the link part. I'm sure that I deleted the bit that did that. I can get it again but I don't know how to put it together. Not making a lot of sense am I?
How do I get the logo AND the link in the same spot? I've done it before but don't remember how I did it.

Thanks!

To get rid of the smiley, you need to get rid of this line of code, which is right after your Welcome graphic:

<DIV id=smileyDIV20><IMG onmousedown="setCurrSmiley('img20','8/8_5_7','Thanksgiving%20Dinner');doContextMenu(0);" id=img20 ondragstart='event.dataTransfer.setData("Text","")' title="Thanksgiving Dinner" ondragend='insertSmiley("8/8_5_7","Thanksgiving%20Dinner")' onclick='insertSmiley("8/8_5_7","Thanksgiving%20Dinner")' src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_5_7.gif" align=absMiddle border=0></DIV></DIV>

To make an image clickable, you need to put the image inside the link tag:

<a href="your exact link here.html"><img src="http://www.myohmyshops.com/images/myohmy122_3.gif"></a>

I made the link tag red so you can see the structure better.

Hope this helps...I don't know what you're using to code your page, so you may not even see this stuff depending on what you're using...

HUH?

I have no idea where to find the code for the graphic. I had another one from SC and I just right clicked it and cut it and it was gone. This one doesn't do anything and I have no idea where to find it.

I have no idea how to put the image inside the link tag either. LOL I know I've done it here but I have no idea how I did it.

This is just more trouble than it's worth. No one ever comes to my site hardly except spammers and no one ever buys anything. I just need to get rid of the damn thing.

LOL...I guess I wasn't much help. I built websites for a living and I am used to looking at the HTML code for problems. I'm no good at all at telling people how to use website-building software...I'm sorry :(

No problem. I just emailed Pappashop and Jocelyn fixed it for me. THey are such nice people! I wouldn't have a website at all if they didn't help me so much.

Not true Deb, I have visited your site many times...even back when you didn't have anything listed. ;-) Your work is beautiful and very well priced.

Yes, that piece on your home page is AWESOME. I love the way it's photographed.

Thanks! It was a pure accident that it turned out that way. LOL I used black tissue paper and then set a picture frame on it and then put the glass on top of that. I just hope I can get the same results the next time!

Deb you sound like me! I still don't know exactly *why* I am even bothering with a website, other than the fact that people are always asking if I have one, and at this point I'm looking at it mostly as a portal to direct people to my auctions and Etsy store.

But the folks at Pappashop are very helpful and patient with us techno-challenged artists!
