HELLO ALL,
I have been working with boro for about 1 year now and want to upgrade my lynx. wondering what the differences between the 4 stud and 2 stud phantom are?
Essentially with a 4 stud you can have different O2 sources for your inner flame (Lynx) and outer flame ports. However with a 2 stud you have less bulk at the base if you plan to use only one O2 source anyway. I have a 2 stud Mirage which was recommended to me by someone for the less bulk option, but I am going to have it converted to a 4 stud eventually so I can run the inner fire on a big concentrator/generator to save some $$.

the 4 stud you can run with a foot pedal and control the inners and outers seperately ...at least if I remember right I believe thats what it is...you can use a pedal on a 2 stud too I think but the 4 stud offers much more versatility.
The 2 stud has 1 line for oxy and 1 line for fuel. The two lines feed both the inner and outer fire. 4 stud has separate oxy and fuel for the inner and outer rings. I use the 4 stud and run the inner (lynx) on a oxy generator and the outer ring on a tank. The 4 stud is also used if you would like to attach the outer ring to a foot pedal.
