Can someone please help me? I have recently moved into a new house and am trying to convert my torch to natural gas. I am all hooked up but do not have enough pressure. Is there a converter I can use to increase the pressure of the gas? Thanks!~LL

there are a few torchs that cannot run off of standard natural gas pressure, but most can. IMHO, you would be better off purchasing a torch that will work of the normal pressure rather than purchasing a gas pressure booster. a new torch will cost you much less than a booster. all of nortel's torchs from the minor to the red max will run off of normal 1/4 to 1/2 psi natural gas. many other vendors will as well.

I use the gas tec 15 to run my phantom and its a beautiful thing. But the cost is $1000.00 so if you have the money go for it you will love it.

I have a minor burner that I run on natural gas in my home. One thing to remember is that if you are just using the gas pressure that comes into the house as is (normally too low for most torches) you will need a much larger oxy con. if you are using one. I am using an OGSI-20. If not, you may want to consider a gas booster.

That makes no sense .... You need less oxygen with less gas not more oxygen.
