Wanted..a template tutorial

Ok I admit it, I am seriously computer challenged when it comes to figuring out programs...

I have Corel PaintShop Pro XI. Somehow within this program I can create a template to save. One that has photos in various locations and text in other locations. I found the templates but am lost from there. Can anyone help?
