Betta Question

I just got another Betta and it's different than the one I already own. This one...the prongs where the hoses come out are kind of out to the side instead of straight down in the back. Is this an older torch and is there a difference in performance? I was jazzed thinking I got a newer version but when going to Bethlehems page I noticed my older one is the one they are showing. So how old is this one?????

I have one of the first Bettas (#10), purchased 2 years ago this month. The input lines, looking from the back of the torch, come off at about 4 and 7 o'clock. I don't know if changing the input angles went along with any internal changes to the burner. It's a hot little torch on propane or NG - I've run it both ways and like for small stuff.

Mine is brand new and ithe lines are out to the side too. I bought it on sale thru Frantz Glass. Not sure how long it was sitting on the shelf at Frantz's.

Where do you find the number Robert?

It's written on the bottom of the base. I had pre-ordered mine before they hit the market, so I got one of the first batches.
