How do you clean your beads?
What is the best way to get that nasty bead release off the inside of the bead?
I have some stubborn ones and they are fine beads and I would hate to not use them because of this stupid crap.
HELP PLEASE!
Thankee.

Can you recommend a good supplier?

Dremel is the only thing I have found to get it out. You can get them at your local hardware store

Home Depot/Lowe's only has the ball shaped diamond bits and it's hard to "know" what to get online. Recommendations?

Remeber to buy the cordless Dremel so you don't electrocute yourself in the water. Also check out harbor frieght for diamond bits. I found 'em real cheap there.

I use an electric bead cleaner, which you can get from Frantz, and I believe, Connie Fox. I know for sure she carries the bits.

If you already have the corded Dremel you can use the flex-shaft attachment, which is nice because it's lighter than the cordless model so you'll have less arm fatigue if you have a lot of beads to clean.

I've gotten bits several places; I think these are the ones I'm using right now:

I use a Mini Mite with diamond drill bits from Daniel Lopacki

I get the extra long bits for long beads.

If you want to clean them by hand get yourself a diamond needle file. They have them at Harbor Tools and jewelry supply places. They come in a set of several differnet shapes and they are really cheap. There is a round one that fits right inside and it's tapered so it will fit in differnent size holes. They also have a half round that I clean my big hole beads.

Daniel Lopacki bits are hands down the BEST bits IMHO.
