Is there some secret to using this stuff? I've been getting it in the beginner kits when I am teaching classes and I hate it! lol I like my air dry bead release that came in my kit when I took my first class.

But I figure the pink slipper must be good and I'm just not using it right. I clean my mandrel, dip it, and dry it in the flame. Anything else I should be doing with the pink slipper?

Thanks in advance!

I got it in my first kit. It's awful in my opinion. Cracks, flakes, chips and does not flame dry. The color also bleeds off onto white or other light colors.

The only success I had with it was letting it dry overnight, and it still had to be put in the flame to totally dry. But then it either cracked or chipped off anyway.

I don't like it at all.

Really disliked Pink Slipper, so I mixed it with all the other tail ends of bead release I had hanging around, and the mixture made the best bead release I've ever used. Problem is, I can't repeat the mixture because it was pretty random. Guess you could try the mixture technique.
