Can anyone help me with this? I am trying to learn how to do the silver tube lined beads. I have the tools but I don't know what size tube to buy and where I should go to buy it. I have instructions that came with the tool but if anyone knows where there is an online tutorial I would love to see that too.

What about these Sterling silver beadcores...?
Use a little jewelry glue and press them in your bead (made on a 5 mm mandrel). You need two rings for one bead.

:-k Do you know of anyone who sells the sterling bead cores in varying diameters? I'm still new enough at this that I still have to support my glass habit with a "real" job rather than having my habit support itself. Therefore, where art Thou & because of...I can't afford the cool tools to line my beads.:(

If not, is there maybe a tutorial on how to do it manually?

Thanks

How wide (hole to hole) does the bead need to be for these to fit? I'd like to try them, but it looks like they need to be really big beads.

Cindy from Devine Bead Designs has 2 different size rivets similar to the ones referred to above.

Thanks Jodie! I figure with more size options I have a better chance of making something work for me.

Just in case though...does anybody know of a tut on the 'ol manual method of mallet etc.?:?:

WOW...HUGELY HELPFUL! I've printed out Tink's tut & bookmarked Evan's vid.
I'll have to go get some stuff to start playing with.
Thanks

If you guys are going to use the bead for Pandora/Biagi, get the larger rivets.

I was actually looking for a more refined "finished" look for my beads. Excellent point though. I'll keep that in mind...never know what inspiration might strike, yes?

By the way, does anyone know if there is a practical limit to how big a bead you can rivet or line? I hate to lose any beads 'cause I was too ignorant to realize it was too big to line/rivet.
