How many of you use it and do you like it?
I have been playing with it. Not mastered yet, but I get some cool reactions.

Haven't tried it. Post some pics of what you've got going on. :D

Hi, Debbie.
I love the brown variant tones in R-106. I get the best results when I don't work it too long. Reaction-wise it's like a cross between enamel white and R-108. Heat it hot then cool for effects. When it's over-worked it gets a film etched appearance (devit)) similar to enamel white and silver lake.~Leiza

For you lurkers and / or newbies out there I believe that R-106 is the iris opal dark brown reduction frit.
I haven't used it yet myself and would really like to see some pics of what you have come up with!
Take care,
Dona
I love this frit, so much better than Raku for me on my HH. I'll hunt for some pictures.
I found some picutres. Stringer of R-106 on Copper green and on Silver Pink. Great yellows, browns and purples.

I only made one little 15mm pillow beads with it alone so far. I have mixed it with R-108 though. I'll try to get pics later.

I have never been terribly excited about this particular color, but I have a friend that does AMAZING sculptural beads with this. They are unbelievable!!!! Of course, it does help that she does phenominal sculpture in glass.
I love it! Here's this frit over Effetre white:
Ummm....why can't I post images?! It (image uploader) seems to have disappeared... Smilies don't work for me either.

This is the frit version of it! It's layered last on top, all the warm colors.
