I have some tall rods-18" or so-marked with plastic and masking tape. They all start with 30-something like 30-563868. Has anybody seen this type of number? I can't remember where I got it or what it is! I plugged it into AS and Frantz and no luck.
Any ideas?
I know I know...senility...

I'm thinking it's either Spectrum or Bullseye from Art Glass House in Cocoa Beach. Their numbers start with 30- but I'd need to have the rest of the number to tell you what color you've got and whether it's Spectrum or BE.

OK, I'm on the AGH site. I don't see that color number. But the BE rods are all coded 30-B####, and the Uroborus starts with a U after the 30-. If the number starts with 32- it looks like it's boro.

The Moretti Alabaster is the closest I see to that number so far, but you've got one too many numbers. Their Moretti begins with 30-56###.

I'm still thinking that what you have is from AGH since you're in Florida.

Pfft! Not really. I just happen to buy most of my Effetre from AGH. I recognized the catalog number pattern. It's more a case of bumbling into the right thread at the right time!

I forgot to mention, if it's Effetre from AGH, the numbers after the 56 (there should be three of them) will tell you what color it is.

try the frantz color lab. it sounds like a frantz #. Match the aprox color and the color pallet will give you the # and the name. Alot of times the last 3 numbers or the first 3 are the effetre name number.

Chuckie, you are always so awesome cool and helpful! Thanks so much!!!!!
I'm hoping they are Effetre! I did look on the r4 site but did not find these numbers listed. I might have gotten it from there. I've just never seen these long rods before-the last orders I placed and unpacked in a bit of a rush-I'll have to be more organized next time!

I have a Cobalt-type color # 30-56368, a pale blue #30-56038, an ivory 276, plae amethyst 30-56082...
Thanks for your help everyone.

Yup, you've got Effetre rods that still have the Art Glass House label on them. Ron's family owns AGH. The last three numbers will tell you what the Effetre color is.

Cobalt-type color # 30-56368 - Effetre Lapis Blue Alabaster (don't mix this with anything but another alabaster and work very, very cool)
a pale blue #30-56038, - Effetre Pale Aqua
an ivory 276, - Effetre Dark Ivory
plae amethyst 30-56082 = Effetre Lavender Blue Transparent

I'm always happy when I can actually help my fellow LE'ers!
