I just saw the copper mesh on Gail's website, and it looks really interesting to me - but I don't know what it's being used for - anyone have pictures you can post, or can you tell me what you are using it for?
Thanks!

http://www.jillsymons.com/journal.htm has done some very cool stuff w/it in her beads. But WARNING~ you NEED excellent ventilation while adding it to your work, Laura.

How have you been girl? I'm gonna email u now:)

hugs,

I'm looking for copper filings to add to my work, not the mesh. Do you know where to get it?

I would just file down a copped tube or fitting from your local harware. Or you could check out a local machine shop. Another copper item that is really fun is copper brillo pad. ;)

This is a slightly coarser mesh than what Gail is offering but it works similarly. I've used mesh and very thin copper strips in these beads.

Ummmmm don't use the heavy mesh on hollows and expect them to round out.#-o

Just as a side note, copper seems to be one of those majic metals that work well in both soda lime and boro.
