Deb,
Have you tried some of the green Vetrofond odd lots, like Swamp Moss or Jungle Twilight?

I have Moss Green on my website from Lauscha. It's not dark but you could probably mix it with the dark green or maybe gray to darken it.

Thank you guys,
I have jungle twilight and it is the closest so far. But I am looking for a dark moss green with no striations. The vetrofond odd lots are yummy but not for a single shade. Yep I know everybody wants the silver, but i just want a good dark green.... Whine. Paula, I'll have to go look at your site.
Thank you again.

Teri,
I have the dark moss agate, love it. But still a little streaky. Maybe should order some pale. I am spending way too much money on glass lately.
ARG.....
Thank you

Have you tried the Effetre sage green. It's very dark and mossy looking--I think it was the sage green that I used. It's one of the "new" colors.

Celeste,
I haven't tried the new sage green. Will have to check. I have the enamels but I suck at making enamel stringers. And to do a rod or 2 no thank you. Call me lazy.
Thanks again.

Have you thought about using a little dark enamel over some sage green glass????? the enamel will also give you that moss texture - like you see in beads that Andrea Guarino often makes..........

Lynn,
will have to try that. I have mixed numerous test batches but nothing really looks like a good dark moss green.... Now if CIM would do an eggplant version of green... HINT HINT
