Some beads gone bad deserve the water dunk treatment but I started making a funny collection of "those" beads that I call my mad monkeys. It started when I took my pliers, quickly pulled ears, pinched nose and chin and dabbed in eyes - one minute tops!! This isn't about sculpture, it's just plain fun. The next morning when my husband cleans my beads he might find....a cranky cat, a devilish dog, an evil imp.......... I simply
strung them on the super stretch elastic and tied it off111393. It's a fun one to wear and makes me smile when I'm stuck at a red light. Tell us what you do with those beads that make you mad.

They are so cute for "those" beads ;)

I did make a silly bead out of a vessel I blew a hole in, as soon as I did that I saw the hole as a mouth so I grabbed a few rods and gave it eyes and hair...it sits in my shop now.

Thanks for sharing!

Cool idea! When my beads go bad, I don't send them to a watery grave. I pull stringer from them until I'm down to the bead release, then dunk.

I think I like your beasties better!

That is a fun idea...

I enjoy making that nasty bead that refuses to shape up spit and sputter. After all, it tortured me!

I do what Barb does . . . pulling stringers . . . since I use a lot of silver glass, I want to waste a little as possible.

Your idea is great but mine would be a very expensive bracelet made with silver glass! lol!

I had never thought about pulling stringers! A great idea I will use-- thank you!
