Marj Bates is a super cool lady who lives in MA, and a number of years ago (1999 or there abouts) she invented a fabulous system for making glass knobs. She has been making and selling them for a number of years on her cool site...www.Glassthings.com (http://www.Glassthings.com).

Recently, she and I collaborated on a project that incorporates her clever kit and a new press from Zoozii's...The Knob press, or course! This is just in time for Christmas gift season because these knobs make perfect gifts for many of your hard to buy for family and friends!

The Zoozii Exclusive MAK Kit by Marj Bates contains:
3 Threaded Mandrels
12 Steel Inserts
12 Screws
Basic Instructions on how to use the kit

The Knob Press by Zooziis is designed to assist in making a 1" round knob, with a 7/16 spacer/tube on the back to make grasping the knob easy...Of course other shapes are coming in the future, but this one is available now, and at a discounted price! Just in time for "the day after Thankgiving shopping" and it can count as a "gift" since you can make fabulous knobs to give away!!

Presses and Kits are available at Zoozii's (http://zooziis.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=19)

Need some ideas...Hostess gifts, picky teen, "Trading Spaces" addict who wants to "trick out their personal space", Dad for his desk, or armoire, Mom for her dresser or jewlery box, Redo your kitchen, coworkers...these are great for Men and Women...

Hi Suzanne, I pm'd ya' back...Wow, I posted that at 12:30am...this one is hot! :)

No, you don't use any bead release. You want the glass to bond to the hardware so that you have the threaded piece in the knob without having to glue it on.

It's very fun, and pretty easy to use. I had a great time with it...
