I was considering buying a kiln but I'm not sure what to look for or what type to get. Is there an advantage buying a new versus an old?
Any help would be greatly appericated!

First, you need to know what you are going to use it for. If you're doing beads and only beads, i would suggest a Chilipepper. If you really want a quality kiln, go for the bead hive. if you plan to do some bigger stuff or fusing, you'll need to look at some other kilns. Post what type of work you plan on doing and helping will be easier.
New verses old... it doesn't matter to me either way, I look for a deal on what I want. After you fire it once, it's "used". :D

I love my glass hive kiln. I totally recommend them.
