We my saga with AIM kilns continues. First I paid for a kiln and waited close to 3 month to get it (they ran out of pyrometers....received bad ones they claim) Now it turns out that the reason all of my beads haven;t been annealing correctly is that my pyrometer is bad and that it most probably has been reading incorrectly since I got it.

So.....yes, they will replace the bad one WHEN THEY GET SOME MORE AND THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THAT WILL BE!!! The pyrometer which used to at least give me an incorrect reading (too high) now is dead!! I have three batches of beads I need to anneal for a show on April 19th and no way to
get them annealed.

So what can I do??? I dont have the $$ to get a Glass Hive kiln (as much as I love them) and I haven't been able to locate one (not the high tech programmable one) just a plain ordinary pyrometer that reads out on an LED is what I had....

Do you know any vendors who have this in stock that can ship ASAP at a reasonable price?????? Any help is appreciated!!

There are two kilns for sale in the garage section. At least you know they work.

Hate to hear about merchants who don't stand by their products and don't have good customer service. It's just not o'kay to "oh, whenever we have an extra, you're on the list."

Good luck
