After over a year of being utterly loyal to Val Cox and her delicious frits, I've been stepping out recently. (I feel kinda naughty.) Maybe it's the season, but I'm restless and a bit greedy. Hehe, nothing new there.
Anyway, I've ordered and am busily trying out various frits from various folks. One of the first on my list was Spiral Dance Designs. Oh boy are they fun! I bought the small sizes of Outback, Pacific Rim, Copper Penny, Midnight Fiesta, Pomegranate, Hard Candy, and Rings of Fire. You'll see my experiments appearing in auctions, including what I currently have listed. I love these frits! The sizing of the pieces is very good with a nice variation from fine to slightly chunky and the color combinations are terrific! Copper Penny even has little bits of goldstone in it, which was a sparkly surprise. I'm thoroughly enjoying all my playtime.
Gail Joseph's (GG Glass) frits are equally entertaining. I have Impressions, Trendy Blend, Bejeweled, Aruba Sunset and Mountain Vista. I think Aruba Sunset is my favorite because it's a nice mix of opaques that layers very well, and there just aren't that many "hot" color mixes out there. Again, the sizing is easy to work with.
I'm still madly in love with Val's frits, but it sure is fun to walk the wild side sometimes!
