Hey everyone - esp. you folks in Canada,
I'll be teaching up at Red Deer College in Alberta, Canada again this summer. Dates are June 23 - 27, 2008.
Class will be "Beyond the Round Bead" This class is for the beadmakers who is really looking to expand their skills by exploring creative shaping and the use of color and texture. It's all about refining shapes, exploring new ones and how to fix beads that "go bad". Experimenting with texture, sandblasting, acid etching, students will have the opportunity to try many diverse processes. Discussions on color theory in relation to glass, and on how to use the color wheel to our advantage will round out the week!
