Hi Gang!

Looking today for mandrels to make a stringing hole of 8 mm. Any thoughts or ideas?

I checked Artco first (Hi Malcolm!), but he has 1/4" (6.35 mm) and then up to 3/8" (9.525 mm).

Maybe double-dipping a 1/4" would work, but I don't like to get the bead release too thick or it will crack off.

Thanks for any help!

If you look at my mandrel page again, you'll see the flat, or 2-way mandrels. The flat end is used for making beads with oval holes. But, the other end can be used as a regular hollow mandrel. I've got these in 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm.

Does that help? :)

And I still need to buy those mandrels from you...
