I purchased my blast shield a few months ago for my Lynx. I thought that it was great and their customer service was wonderful. It was not until I hook up my minor for those times that I did not need the bigger torch.
I had forgotten how much heat comes back at you. If I feel that much from the minor I can only image how much I would feel from the Lynx. Not to mention that it has to be bouncing the fumes back away from me.
Well let me tell you I feel no heat on my face and if the glass shocks it does not hit me in the face with the shield. I did upgraded to the glass with more protection. I think that it was the high heat rated IR/UV glass and it was worth every penny.
I love my Blast shield so much I will be ordering one for my minor soon.
