I have looked all over and can't find any info. on how many hours one should look for on a used (reconditioned) oxy con. Does it matter? I think maybe once it has been reconditioned, the hours don't matter as much, but I don't know. Help!
I would have to agree that it doesn't matter. Having said that what does matter is the amount of re-conditioning performed. Ask the seller what was done, then post that and ask again. If I'm not mistaken...usually a good cleaning, changing out or re-pouring the sieve beds, re-building the compressor, new alarm battery, filters where needed depending on the model and a test with a calibrated unit to make sure the LPM, PSI and purity are all in range. Other than that I don't know.
Find out what you can and let all of us know!
Luck to you...Bo Whalen

I've had two for ages and they keep on going like they did when they were brand new. I have thought it might be time for me to take them in and have them checked out. Notice I said thought about it lol,lol

Oh, and keep in mind that some brands last longer than others. I believe JustinL posted a list regarding concentrator life.
