It was mainly from two brothers that stepped up and said that they would donate all nine of the torches that were the prizes . I would like to thank Willy and Wally Horn for how they made it happen for me six years ago. thanks. Lewis C Wilson

A couple questions...

Do we need to supply our own torch for the event or will there be torches there we can use?

How about glass?

Does submitting an entry form guarantee us a place? Or do we have to be selected to compete?

Thanks!

Hi Cosmo,

Sorry for so late a post.
There will be a few torches provided. We will have these noted at least a month before the flame off.
People will be making beads and marbles. That means that there will not be a huge amount of glass involved. Even if someone does a big marble in the one and a half hours, it will still have very little color in it. I would think that smart people will bring the glass they plan to use. That way they will have exactly what they want to win with. In a medium sized bead or marble there may be only a doller or two of color. Maybe even less.
There will be eighteen spots open for each of the four catogories. We should have people notified by July 15 if they are accepted.
