Glass Classes!

Hello, I would like to know who teaches lampworking classes in the Seattle area? I live in Montana and know that Seattle would be a good area for classes. Here in Montana we don't have anyone who teaches. Any suggestions for good teachers that I can contact? Thanks! Jacque

If there is a local SCA Group (Society of Creative Anachranism), they might have one or one may travel to the area for loval events. That's the type of class I learned at.

I live in Sheridan, WY ... hiya neighbor!

I go to Denver ... Golden, actually, to GlassCraft (http://www.glasscraftinc.com) for my classes.

They have a GREAT facility, the folks there are the BEST and they bring in really good teachers. I've gone every year for the last 5? years or so, at least twice a year.

Hi Darleen, I was born and raised in Colorado Springs and go figure I have lived in Montana for 10 years and wasn't making jewelry or beads when living in Colorado! I will check them out! Hello Darleen, I just checked out glasscraft and they will have a class in October two day on the weekend that would be perfect for me. I have made beads since Feb. 26 2005 but no classes in Montana totally self taught! Bought a couple of books and a video and just went for it. So here I am in a total rut want to advance but not sure how! Thats why I thought about taking some classes! Well Thanks alot! Jacque

well i was born and raised in Fort Collins (with a short stop in the Springs when I was too young to remember, and a couple 3 years in Pueblo where my sister was born)!

Classes at GC: Andrea Guarino, Pati Walton, Ray Olson, John Olson, Kate Fowle Meleney, Leah Fairbanks, Kristina Logan, Corina, Michael Barley... I think that's all of 'em.

I've met SUCH great people at those classes. I don't think I"m going this year ... although I'd LOVE to take Loren Stump's class I'm just not making enough money any more to justify it.
