I just found a source for chem-o-lene nearby. Per instructions, I took a propane tank (20#) to them and they will have it filled and returned to me wednesday. This for $16.00. He said they will mix chem-o-lene with propane in the tank and it will be ready to fire up. Does this sound okay to everyone? No regulator. I have the 4' and 12' adapter hose (different use for one of them) and I suppose I'm good to go.

I hope!

One other question. Yesterday while surfing I came across a web site with a motorized mandrel for sale. There was also a free wheeling Marvar made with brass tubing. Now I can't find the place and would like to go back. If this site rings a bell with anyone please advise.

Thanks for the help...Bo Whalen

CHEM-O-LENE is a hydrocarbon additive that when propane is siphoned (blended) through it the propane picks up the a few hydrocarbon atoms and it supercharges the burning rate of the propane creates a hotter flame. It can be used in Liew of MAPP gas or Propylene... Don't know if it is as hot as MAPP or Propylene.

Can't say how valid process is because I have never used it.
