The little Dragon 7, or the Little Dragon 21?
The 7 would be a sidestep, albeit a rugged, bulletproof sidestep. The 21 is a much larger torch, along the lines of a Mid-Range.

I have no idea on the comparison of the two torches-but I have a Little Dragon 7. And I love it! Great torch that is well made.

Ditto what Malcolm said. I have worked on a Mini CC, Bobcat, Minor and Little Dragon & . . . the Mini CC and the Bobcat are similar and a wee upgrade from a Minor and the Little Dragon 7, which are also very similar. Of the two, I prefer the Minor over the Little Dragon. IMHO.

i admire your beads so much!
i'm just not sure as what the flame difference is between the minor and the knight little dragon. both have the 7 jets, but the dragon is cheaper!!! i was shocked.
just wasn't sure which was a better buy and wanted a different flame than the minor...
i definately do not want the mini cc~ don't like the bushy flame.
What kind of beads do you want to make? What is it about the Minor that you don't like? I had a Bobcat before upgrading to a Barracuda and that gives you a narrower flame than the Mini CC for sure. The Little Dragon's flame is bushy too and it's not very hot . . . I make bigger beads so I get impatient whenever I use my friend's Little Dragon. She actually just sold it . . . and got a Betta! I haven't tried the Betta yet but hope to soon!
My recommendation is to wait for a used Bobcat in the Garage Sale perhaps?
Another question - are you on tanked oxygen or an oxycon? Perhaps the problem lies in your oxycon not powering your Minor fully?
Sorry I prolly confuse you more rather than help! lol!

That's a good point. You may just need more oxygen. Hard telling without knowing what you're on.

Hi Hayley,
I'm getting a M-15 concentrator fro ABR~ great sale going on...
I make lots of perfume bottles and beads, not as good as yours but I'm working on it~
So would a bobcat be a better way to go? I like the minor, just wanted to try something different...
thanks everyone for your input!
jeri
Jeri,
Thank you for the kind words!
Why don't you wait till you get the M15 and see how it goes with the Minor. A Bobcat is a small upgrade if you decide to go that route!
Do you have a way of trying different torches? Where are you located?

hi Hayley
no unfortuantely I have no way of testing the torches, but now a friend is changing my mine about a mini cc!
i noticed in other posts you love your glasshive kiln~ is it the best one you've worked on>
thanks so much for your input!
I love my glasshive kiln. I love that it's 18" wide and has 4" tall doors! Mike Crowley offers the best customer service too!
The Mini CC is a perfectly good torch too. Some people find that the knobs get hot on their Mini CC tho. But then again every torch usually does have its quirks . . . it all depends on if you can live with them or not.
