I have a bobcat and my oxycon is coming tomorrow.
Two questions:
I'm looking for a flashback arrestor and a propane regulator. I checked Arrow Springs. For the arrestors, they have American (for $29 each) or imported (for $15 each). What is the difference? Why would I spend the extra $14?
They also have the propane regulator. It is an import, standard duty, adjustable w/guages. It is $65. American is much more. Are these good prices on the arrestor and regulator? Anyone know where to get them cheaper? If I get the arrestor and regulator from them I plan to get the 1/4" BC hose set, 12.5' for $24 from them also.
Thanks!

In todays market you usually get what you pay for.... IF you buy cheap products you get cheap products....

I personally try to get "Made in USA" when ever possible. Its not only economics its quality too....

I would have to agree with dale.
I uses bothe of the higher products you speek of from arrow springs and have no problems. Love the flash backs , make me feel a whole lot safer.

Ok, thanks for the info! Looks like I will buy American :D
Anyone know if the 1/4" BC hoses they have at AS are the ones I need to connect my Bobcat to the oxycon and propane tank?
Thanks!

I have 6 propane regs and 6 oxy regs in my shop. Three have stopped reading the pressures , all of them were the cheap one's. I've never had a problem with the nice expensive ones. I've found that with every tool I buy. If I buy cheap the first time, I end up getting the expensive one down the road anyways.
