10 New EyeCandyArts Marbles on eBay - Starting at 99¢

It's been over a year since I've posted any marbles for sale on eBay, so to kick it off I have 10 shiny new colorful marbles starting at 99¢ on eBay right now. Some have dichro and some have UV glass (oooohhh, blacklight stuff!). If you don't find something you like right now, don't fret, I have more on the way.

In other news, I started a new gallery on MarbleArtists.org for my 2008 work. I was hesitant to change over after spending so much time working on GlassArtists.org over the last few years, but it was finally time to switch. It's at about 40+ artists right now, but it's acquiring more at a steady pace. Go check it out if you have some extra time to kill.

Thanks for the feedback! I just tried some new things with the photography this round - I usually use a photo dome (white background), but the haze/glare it was creating on the marbles was driving me mad!

The Flow Magazine had a really great article this month about photographing marbles that didn't make it into the magazine, so got sent out as a PDF file with their newsletter. Contact me via my website and I'll send you a copy. :)

Sheesh! These are all just gorgeous!!!

I love the galactic ones especially, but have to say the "Marshy, Marshy, Marshy" reference was hysterical! I'll admit to the tiniest bit of green-eyed pleasure when Marsha Brady got whacked in the face with that basketball all those years ago on "The Brady Bunch", which for whatever reason, this marble's name brought back to mind. What a rotten kid I was!

EDIT: My KIDS reminded me that my bASKETBALL reference above was in err; it was actually a FOOTBALL that caused the damage! Something about an episode that had Joe Namath visiting the house, throwing around the ball with the boys, and BOOM!!! Of course, I reminded them it was the "net result" that really mattered, not the means by which it was achieved! Of course, they rolled their eyes and remarked, as usual, "You're evil"! I replied, to their great dismay, "Whatever". Ha - back at 'cha!
