so i hooked up 2 unlimited O2 huricanes to a phantom today.
i fee that i got about 90% heat.
it melted 19mm boro rod just as fast as liquid. i was able to get all the torch flames i use with liquid o2. the only thing i noticed is that you have to turn down the green and use more blue to get the flame to "hiss" in the high o2 flames. i could definitly feel the limit of oxygen before i had the valves open all the way, but i felt i could work just as fast if i adjusted the flames properly (using more blue than green).
if your using a phantom and 2 huricanes i see no need for bottled o2.
i took some vids with my phone but they are in a wierd format and cannot get them to play on my computer.
my friend also reciently worked on a Carile CC on 2 huricanes generators and said it was a little slower than bottles but he was able to make his gobblet. he said it added about 15% more time onto the piece.
hope this helps some of you figure out a good gen/torch combination.
