Are there any beginning lampwork classes in or near Sussex, NJ?

I have someone who lives in Sussex, NJ and wants to learn lampworking and I told her I'd try to hook her up. She wants to learn beads specifically. I told her about Corning already but maybe there's something or someone closer to her?

TIA! Want to keep the teaching jobs in the LE family when I can. :waving:

Hi Astrid, I'm in NJ and am working on a schedule for a beginners workshop in January or February. I usually try to work it out with prospective students so that it's a weekend that works for the majority of people who have contacted me. Please pass on my email info, jeri AT jeribeads DOT com. I would be happy to "meet" your friend. Jeri

Rockland School for the Arts in West Nyack, NY has beginner classes as well. While its not exactly next door (a little over an hour away on 287), it's a helluva lot closer than Corning! Stephanie Maddelena teaches the class.

LOL Alli! Girl, you know I did. ;) She won't listen, but then, neither did we.

The warning comes in the class curriculum, FOR SURE!! Then I tell them about the advanced beginner class!! It's like a devious plot! Jeri

I'm teaching a Beginning Bead class at Carlisle Feb 23 &24. Carlisle is in southern NJ and it is one of the nicest glass studios I've ever taught in. Great facility - great people.
Check out their website - Carlisle School of Glass in Millville, NJ.

I'm also teach a silver glass class the weekend of May 18 & 19.

Hope that helps.

Lisa
