Does anybody use tanked gas anymore??
 

I can’t make any oxygen concentrator work with my minor. Can I use tanked oxygen safely or do I have to quit the whole thing? Nothing should be this hard.

Please help. /

What exactly are you having trouble with? Literally making the connections? Poor Oxygen Purity? Insufficient flow?

I use tanks personally, but plenty of folks use OxyCons to power a minor torch no issues.

Sue, it should be possible to use your concentrator with your Minor. I've been doing it for a couple decades. With that said, when I do off site demos, I use a small tank of oxy (not sure the size definition, but it lasts about 3 hours).

Whereabouts are you in relation to Dallas?

All three thighs . I also don’t have a controlled temperature environment. I think that has a large affect on the purity and the pressure.

I live in Dallas but my studio is 99 min. away in a very humid east Texas.

Minors work very well on an oxycon, my alpha does as well although could use more. What sort of problem are you having?
