Just a question...storage unit studio?

Does anyone know if one can or know anyone that has a studio in a rented storage unit? I am moving soon and can't find a place to set up my studio (moving to a condo and not allowed) and someone suggested finding out if a storage unit may allow it....he says that lots of people used storage units for business.....

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Thanks!

Not sure if it would be allowed. I seem to recall my last storage unit didn't have any plugs in it but I'm sure they are not all created equal.

I have know a few people that had their wood shops in storage units. They had lights and electricity that they paid separately for. And I believe they were limited to working during the day because of the noise issues with some of the saws.

I have only rented two storage units but they both had lights and outlets inside.

I had no luck with storage units due to power and insurance but have rented garages for studios.
