064?

I love the stuff, but they want too much for it these days. Last I know of was $80 a pound.

Kybeadmaker 2014-07-19 5:50pm

Yes, 064

Wow, pricey! How does it differ from the Effetre black? Lydia

It was discontinued several years ago. It's a true black, it doesn't fade out or bleed out. It's my all time favorite black.

Thanks. Sounds like a great color. Are there any other blacks out there that are comparable , such as Reichenbach black ?

My favorite black, and I have never been able to find anything that compares. Sadly, I am also almost out!

I'm hoarding a pound and a half, and I use very little of it when I do use it. It creates a very lovely bluish grey when mixed with white.

for stringer work, Tuxedo is a good alternative unless it needs to be hairfine. (I use silver glass for that)

Frantz was selling V Black for $10 a lb a few months ago (9-10mm rods), but I'm guessing it was a one shot deal. If you're looking for some, might be worth giving them a call tho.

250 gram = 3.52 euro = 4.76 dollar.

I have quite a bit that I'd sell or possibly trade.

Is this better than intense black?

I will trade with you any day, Liz! Just let me know what you may trade them for. Great seeing you in Houston, btw. <3
