Seconds

What are they like to work with? Are they really that bad??

Gotta color I gotta pick up and it's only in seconds And its on sale but I have only worked with the regular n odds.

So opinions is seconds worth it?

Northstar if that makes a difference.

I like them, but I'm willing to work with nearly anything. Also, they're a good way to try a color to see if you like it.

I never use seconds. They may not be compatible with anything but themselves as the COE and viscosity could be way off. I do use odds however. Usually guaranteed to be compatible but just odd sizes or crooked rods.

I need like a pound and half for a custom order, that I've already used 3 pounds of regular stuffs making...need it to match pretty close in color.

then forget about 2nds. it'll be hit or miss. probably miss.

Mike is right.

You won't get a good color match with seconds. Odds usually work, they are just irregular shapes.

I like using odds too, but I steer clear of seconds for the reasons mentioned.

Thanks everyone :)

You never know what you're going to get with seconds. I've had more than a few seconds explode like hand grenades when working them.

Odds are great. Most of the black I buy is odds. Seconds I steer clear of.

I have not had any good luck with seconds either..
