GA Ivory Blush?
I'm trying to get my glass inventory up for the winter, and need some
Ivory Blush, ( or was it blush ivory?) I can't seem to find it anywhere, does anyone know if it was discontinued? I think it was made by GA, Maybe they changed the name? I love this color, I use it for my starfishes. Anybody know if it is still available somewhere? |
I think it might have been one of the glasstique colors.
|
Glasstique had booth an ivory blush and a peach blush. Do you have any pics?
|
I forgot they had both peach and ivory blushes! No wonder that came out so odd last time I used it, I pulled from the wrong bin :)
I have both, and I marked them glasstique, meaning I probably got them last Feb in the LOC sale. |
Yep - the Ivory Blush was a Glasstique color - and awesome at that! I think it is gone - when I bought more they said they only had a pound left (that was months ago). I emailed them and begged for them to make more but I don't think it was very popular..... It 'blushes' a gorgeous peachy/coral color in spots and is great for layering for flowers. Wish they'd make more!

Ivory Blush!!
You can get it directly from Glass Alchemy, or Winship designs has it too. I freakin' love that color. It goes soooo... well with Wisteria from T.A.G. glass. Try it.
|
Is it Coral Blush? That is a production color resulting from the glasstique line last year.
Mark your work is beautiful!! |
I went back into my pictures and found this. Ivory blush with black pearl. Luscious glass. |
oh, hello!!!
WOW Renee that vessel rocks!!! WOW WOW!! |
Ivory blush is different than coral blush - much softer. I don't see it listed at Winship or GA. They do have Coral Blush listed though.
|
Ah! Thanks Friskebaer. It looks beautiful in Renee's vessel! Too bad it's not a production color :-(
|
WOW...that vessel is a beauty! I have Coral blush, but haven't really gotten much out of it yet. Samma

You're welcome Kiko!
These two are ivory blush: This one is coral blush: Not that it matters since they don't make it anymore. But maybe if more people bug them about it - hey you never know! Jenny |
Winship doesn't have it (online at least).
If anyone finds this please PM me and let me know!!! I'd love to get some of this. |
Thanks Nagi! Ivory blush looks great with Black Cherry too. I've got to try the wisteria combo.
Jenny those discs are fabulous, do you make them into jewelry? |
Thanks so much Renee!
Once in a blue moon when I pick up my seed beads I use the them (I call them JibberJabbers) in my lariats.... I think some of my customers do the same thing. One gal used one with her PMC as a lid for a box she made - very cool (wish I could remember her name...) Jenny |
Plea for Ivory Blush
This is how I was using the ivory blush. It is the base of the starfish. The one on the left has aurora stripes and the one on the left has Tequila sunrise in the center both with clear dots. These were very popular for me, I am sad that the Ivory Blush is not made anymore. I am going to email GA to beg them to make it, maybe if everyone else does too......... Yes, Virginia...there is a Santa Claus,,,.....and an Easter Bunny........................................Tooth Fairy............ |
Renee, I just love that vessel? Very nice..
|
Just so you know there's some Ivory Blush in the Garage Sale...

Yeah, what Eric said .
5$ a rod is actually about the normal price. |
Thanks, Eric and Karen
Guess I should read more carefully before I post. Didn't see the part about it being 17 inch rods before I went and looked a second time. Not everybody sells full size rods. |
