Bronze color glass ?

I have a customer wanting bronze color glass put in a bead. Is there such a glass color ? All I can think of is amber.

When opal raspberry is reduced, it is bronze colored.

Maybe the coppery gold black from divardi?
The roman bronze pixi dust may also work.

Divardi is a little tricky to work with.

Try out Reichenbach Iris gold (or Iris yellow, both work great). Heavily reduce to get a lovely goldy, bronzy colour.
Cheers

Goldstone? Everything I've ever made with it turns out a baby-poo brown, rather than the bronzy aventurine gorgeousness that everyone else seems to get, but YMMV

Yup - Urobos Bronze. Beautiful transparent bronze. Use it as an encasement over some medium or light opaque brown and you'll have a delicious, no fuss bronze.

Try Kugler light Tobacco 222. I've made these beads 6 years ago when I had been a newbie, so please excuse the wonky beads! ;-) As far as I remember I did work the glass in an oxidizing flame, just like DSP. (Tobacco are the dark beads that almost look like the statue.)

Bullseye makes a really pretty bronze color. If you're looking for a transparent bronze..check them out.

Thanks very much everyone. Much appreciated. :) The only one suggested here that I have is the Iris Gold and that's in frit form.

ASK Carmel Apple, or morrican swirl, or any other brown that ask had basically. Reduces to a really nice bronze. I second pixie dust for the best effect. If you don't need much I can send you some pixie and glass.

Thanks very much jaci for the generous offer but I don't think I need any. I haven't heard back from the customer since telling her how much I want to do a custom bead. lol ! And believe me when I say I didn't ask for an unreasonable amount of money.

Oh it must be in the air! I have been dealing with one of those (not for beads even!) in person for 3 days! Some people!
