So the crazy thing about the timing is that I could possibly come :) I'm actually scheduled to be up in Asheville for a clinical rotation starting the Tuesday following FOTM. The only problem is that I have to be back in town for class on Monday only to drive back up again. It's just too hard to schedule. Such a bummer.

Mussels at Bouchon?? Yes. I discovered that place. It's ridiculous. Mon-Weds it's all you can eat!!!

We have the mussels at Carabba's. Adelle can pack away a lot of sea creatures for such a tiny woman. ;-)

Fire on the Mountain is an annual retreat in Asheville in the Spring.
Marjorie Langston (msjjjj) can give you all the details
It is a great gathering of lampworkers. You learn so much and have a great time doing so. The first time I attended I had only been lampworking for a few months and I have been back every year since!
Be sure to contact Marjorie for more information.

There is also a group (NC FireFiends) of lampworkers from NC, SC and anyone else who wants to attend. We are a very casual group(no due, no officers, nothing mandatory---just good times) that meets several times a year. We have a private facebook page. PM me your facebook name and I will add you. If you're not on facebook-get to it girl! It is through this page that we plan our get togethers. You will also find many lampworkers that are near you.

Then you definitely have to try Bouchon!!! Remember...Monday-Wednesday. All-you-can-eat and you get frites with the first bowl of mussels :D Go early though....it's fills up fast!!

Yum!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im hungry now.
