Suggestions for books or DVD's

I would love to hear your recommendations for books or DVD's on lampwork techniques. I found a few on Amazon but would really like to know what people that actually do lampwork found helpful in the begining.

Thanks for the help.

What I want to make and can make are a world apart
Trying to lessen the gap.
Working with soft glass right now only have a hothead (oh the torch not my husband )
I did purchase a kiln that I can do fusing with so I would like to explore that at some time.
Right now beads, maybe looking to the future more sculptural and vessels.

Thanks for your help,

Passing the Flame by Corina Tettinger is excellent for techniques and inspiration.

The series by James Kervin featuring various artists offers great information.

The two books by Cindy Jenkins are very good, too.

Many of the books offered are good - just check what interests you.

I'll add reading through the technical articles on James Smircich's site here: http://www.smircich.com/html/technical_articles.html

I had one of those aha! moments reading his tutorial on the round bead.

I've got Corina's dvd on stringer control which I've watched and now shared with several others. It's great for inspiration as well as techniques.

Cindy Jenkins's book "Making Glass Beads" should always be recommended as well. Excellent information there.
