Oooh thanks I just made your turtle today. I will post pics in the newbie challenge tomorrow. I am just waiting for my tank to warm back up before I go for the next round. I am having so much fun!

I thought I would post the latest use of these Critter faces and paws... I worked them up for Purple Heart beads for BOC, but you could make them for a child in any color of heart or base shape.

If it werent for the tut... i would never have attempted these. Poor little turtle broke in 3 places.. i superglued him back together. lol closing on a house soon and will have "studio" set up complete with much needed kiln soon thereafter!! [-o<

Wonderful first attempts! Control comes with practice, but one of the hardest aspects is making sweet faces - and you have the gift!

What a wonderful gift. I am going to play this weekend.
Thank you.

Fine Folly Glassworks 2013-05-16 5:48pm

Be sure to post what you create!

Thank you for sharing. I am just getting to the point where I am attempting sculptural beads. Having instructions really helps.

Remember that you use the tutorials to add the face and leg features to round beads, and make any critter... just take your time, work in the cool of the flame for details and practice! These are some Teddies and Puppy Dogs I made early on with some of the same features in the Tuts.

Thank you so much, and I want to add this link for a free Kitty Cat PDF Tutorial if anyone is interested. The PDF also has the first few sections from the Workbook on pulling Stringers and so on, in case people need it. It makes the yellow Kitty Cat below.

I have been posting a lot of Kitties lately, and you can use the pattern to make any of them!

Lampwork Kitty Cats

Thank you Allicat! I'm so glad people are enjoying the Tut!

Here are some 3-dimensional Kitty Cats I made up. Once you get the features down, you can build your kitties into all kinds of mischief!
