Gorgeous! :)

thank-you! :)

Gorgeous. Are the two ruby red rods on either side the new DH Rhea color and what color are the pretty opaque blue beads? Lydia
yes, Dh one of the test batches for the rhea and the blue is one of the marmoreo lapis colors
Very pretty. Thank you. 😊 Lydia

I've been playing a bit with Skylla. Do you have to encase it to get the pinks and reds?
I can't say I'm an expert...
Lovely! (ps, there is another thread from a month or so ago to see more)
Thanks, Eileen!
I still want more pics...
Honestly my beads look just like your dots, just bigger form. I don't have any on hand at the moment.

Oh, I don't encase. To me it's just like tnt/2 |
Thanks!

I've been making guitar knobs out of Skylla. Here it is over black. I work it really hot, then shape it quickly. It does seem to be a slow striker, like others have said. Sometimes I feel like it will never strike, but luckily I'm able to reproduce consistent color! I dont encase, in my experience, it tended to mute all my color.

I get a lot of pinks and reds, I find it especially easy if you blow it into shards first.
Wow. Those guitar knobs are awesome.
Those look great!
Thanks!!
