coat a white rod with black, coat a black rod with white. Stick the two together and fill in the blanks. It helps to draw on paper the coated white and coated black and then drawing a circle around that and there you will have where to fill in the colors. I hope that makes sense.

Excuse the pic, it's blurry but...

Wrap a White rod in Black and a Black rod in white. Then stick the two together and add a line of white in the crease on one side then marver round and do the same with black on the other side.

Well I guess I got ahead of myself! Having a heck of a time even coating the rods *laughs*.

I am going to have to come back to this after I learn that...

Do it like your painting the rod. Start at the end of the rod and push the color down it about an inch or so and then marver it round.

one trick to doing this is to get just the tip of the rod hot and with a quick swipe down the rod as described above.
