This is it folks: Sign-ups are now open for the third round of our Boro-box game...

Our second round of fun is quickly coming to a close - only 4 more players out of 33 total left to go! It's been a great success, and I'd like to thank each and every one of our player's for their kind cooperation, and sense of fair play.

Come one - come all - everybody is welcome to join in the fun!

And any dates that you may not be available to play...

I've named this round "The Big Switcheroo", because I anticipate switching out some of the goodies which have been in our East and West coast boxes this go-round....there's bound to be the most awesome variety ever! :grin:

At this point in time, it looks like Round III should be starting sometime in early June.

(If you are unsure of what this game is all about, just do a search within this forum for "Boro-box II", and you'll get the drift of it - as well, we've got a few simple rules that we go by, so you might want to take a peek...)

I would love to join up....Im fairly new with boro and dont have a very large
selection of glass and frit yet is this going to be a problem?

Hi Denise! Not a problem - those with less of a stash just trade out a bit less...as long as it all stays pretty much even - everything seems to work out just great! :grin:

1) keep package no more than 5 days
2)insure for $200
3) post tracking number
4)put in approx equal value item that you take out


question--are we supposed to make something out of the items we take out and give it to the person after us? Or is it optional to make something else....or???

Hey welcome, Nagi!!! :love: Yup - you've got our "rules" nailed down - I also ask all the player's to post their trades to the thread so we can all watch our boxes transformation...I try and keep it nice and simple - and it seems to have been working, thanks to all the player's fantastic cooperation!

There is no obligation to make something/anything for the following player...it's entirely optional - and it's not necessarily from what you've taken out of the box...that's more like Jo's/Jana's game - not to be confused...

The gift - and in actual fact, the box itself, is meant to be a token of our "love of boro", and eagerness to share with fellow addicts.

As mentioned in another thread - I'd like to thank Nancy and Abe from Northstar/Precision, Henry and Lani from Glass Alchemy, and Phyllis and Trev from Trev's glass, as they've all agreed to contribute some glass and goodies to our boxes, and share the love - Yippee-skippee!! (...in addition to the glass, and other "stuff" that I'm planning to start off each box with...)

Also, I'm playing with the concept of adding-in a "Player's Invitational" recipe source, which could prove to be very interesting indeed!! :happy:

This promises to be the best Boro-box game ever...sign-up now before you'll be sorry! :wink:
