Last week/weekend of the year torching?
 

I'm going to try to torch at least 4 hours this weekend for BOC, see how many Courage Beads I can do.

With getting ready for Christmas and babying my back I've been slacking, so it's time for me to get back to it! Anyone else want to join me in a great way to end the year?

I will Eileen! I have no orders or anything I have to do so I will play a bit for BOC with you!!! Anyone else?

I'm at my daughter's this weekend, but I pulled a bunch of beads from my BOC bowl and orphan box. I've just finished packing up these beads. They range in size from small, to med, to a bit larger 1". When the SLT tutorial came out I made some beads then, but I just got them cleaned on Thursday in time to pack my bag to come to Memphis.

They should go out in Monday's mail.

I'll think about you guys having fun while i pine away for my torch, oh yes DH too.

Enjoy the wedding! I hope it's everything they've dreamed of, and best wishes to them for a life full of enough good things to overshadow the inevitable not so happy times, and love to last a lifetime.

I have started a box, I will finish and get in the mail on Tues.

I only got 5 done yesterday, but will do more tomorrow and hopefully Tuesday, they won't go in the mail until 2014. I can't believe it's around the corner!

My box is in the box. Pickup is tomorrow. My DGD "helped" me pack the beads!

I don't know how I missed this thread! I finally went through all my work from last year and I've got 700 beads to send in. I've got torch time this weekend also so I'll see if I can add to that total. :)

Wow, many kids will be delighted.

That's one of my MUST DO things....send the box of BOC beads. At least a couple hundred but not as cute or fancy as a lot of you do but some cute little dots and bright colors. Make me feel so good to send beads to them. Thanks Eileen for reminding me to get that done. And to everyone, Happy New Year!

All of you did better than I did, but I'm going to try to get some hours in today too. Whatever we send will make some smiles I'm sure!

Robert, how are they doing for inventory?

I'm feeling a bit dumb, I had some stuff going on and forgot to send in my beads!

I had a few more, but pulled them because of the new info on glass that isn't compatible with the kids needs.

The kids are going to LOVE these beads.

I hope at least one child loves each bead, or that it means something to the one child who ends up with it :D
I'd love to see other people's donation piles, spurs me on with ideas & enthusiasm. :D
