Different types of milli/murrini

I have been trying my hand at making milli or murrini (not too sure what the difference is), I have made skulls, and different types of fish. I was wondering if any of you either have some pics of some different types you have made, or know of a link where I could find some. I am really looking for the more complex types, maybe some turtles or other sea life.

I'm not asking for tuts, just pics so I can get an idea of where to start.

Thanks in advance!!

I'm not sure how much detail you are looking to create, but the 2 links below have some neat stuff.

Hi Honey~

I'm still a Mille NOOB, but here's a few snapshots of what I've made, along with a suggestion that I've found helpful:

Bubble Bees:

Footprint/Claw (suspended in a "test" marble to see image):

Skull Murrini and "test" marble:

And here's a picture I took of how I did the "lay down" of glass to build up the Skull; I found it helpful and started with a half-round as the top of the head and base to build on. I then added stripes of glass in the order you see here, adding clear where I didn't want the shape to round (like at the jaw hinge) and then encased in clear before pulling:

Hope this helps you out!

Here is one of my butterfly wings. The body would be placed and two wings attached.

And one of my beads with a ladybug murrini.

The trick here is that everything goes the same color when heated. I put a orientation dot on the Pyrex punty to keep things sorted out.
