Ventilation size
 

Hello,

In the last weeks I read a lot about ventilation but I am still not sure if my research came to the right conclusion and I don't want to play with my health.
I am using an Arnold 40mm PSL Zenit for which I would install a hood with opening dimension of 30inchx30inch and a fan with the power of 1000cfm. (3 feet ducting, 0 bends)
Is the hood big enough and will the fan do the job?

I have this. I run a Mirage and a Phantom. 1,600cfm

A 15 inch hole in some plywood in a window. It really makes my whole 7 x 8 foot room into a wind tunnel.
