Ooooh. That last one looks like a Morning Glory!!! Neat.

Dasi 2011-01-25 7:49am

I have done many implosions in the past. I learned from one of the best - Brent. But I must say, I learned a lot of new stuff in this tutorial. I am very happy with this tutorial. The information contained in the tutorial explains complicated implosions. But he makes them look easy. I am off to the torch to play.......Thanks Ron for a wonderfully written tutorial.

I have been playing a lot with blue velvet by Northstar.... it adds a nice glitter look to everything which is hard to see in the picture, but really pretty in person.

Got my marble and just LOVE IT!!!! Thank you very much!

SadiesJewels 2011-02-11 10:23pm

Beautiful ... and want to buy it!

But I can't until I receive my ornament (got glass and tut) ... sent you a pm on Feb 8th - no answer - original order October 2010 (for Effetre Clear - and the beginning of this saga).

Dasi 2011-02-12 8:17am

Thank you for the a beautiful marble!!! I would have paid $30 for the marble at a show....so the tutorial is free! LOL....

I hope this is OK.... I made these cabs using what I learned in your tutorial.
Anyone else have examples?

Heather,
Nice colors and I like the way you finish your art with silver.
Thanks for posting pics!
Ron

Kalorlo 2011-02-14 8:28am

Oh lovely! I've just started doing implosions (in soft glass) and this is going right on my wishlist :)

I'll keep an eye out for the soft glass one too.

PennyLane 2011-02-20 8:39am

Hey Ron, received my treasure yesterday in the mail, THANK YOU for it and the tutorial. Hoping to apply your methods to soft glass.

Cathy

R4GlassStudio 2011-02-21 8:49am

Heather and Cathy,
Let me know how you do.
Thanks!
Ron

MaryBeth 2011-02-22 4:16pm

I received my marble today! It is just incredible! Thanks so much! I am also going to try to apply these techniques to soft glass. I love the tutorial!

tassiebeads 2011-02-22 8:52pm

Thanks so much for the beautiful marble, Ron, it's a stunner - this tutorial is the gift that just keeps giving! Beautifully written, easy to follow and helpful...
Updates too...a gorgeous marble....!!

Some of the best money I've ever spent.

Thanks again, Ron.

Mary

R4GlassStudio 2011-02-23 8:16am

Thanks!
I am still working on a new addition with some fun techniques. After that, I'll start working on the next tutorial.
Ron

Vicki B. 2011-02-24 7:59am

will the next tut be for soft glass implosions? have sort of been holding off since I'm a hothead user.

R4GlassStudio 2011-02-24 8:37am

Rocio is planning on doing a soft glass one, but she is working on a special earring tutorial now. The boro implosions tutorial covers more than enough detail to use in soft glass glass. The color combos point you in the direction of using layers of opaques and transparents.. silver colors can be exchanged for the Amber Purple type colors in the boro tutorial, etc.....
Ron

hotglass 2011-02-24 4:16pm

Aloha Ron!

I just got my copy! It is very well thought out and the diagrams make the whole implosion process understandable. Definitely a must have tut for those on the fence.

Mahalo! - Alpha

Kalorlo 2011-02-24 4:18pm

I second that! Got mine too and there's a LOT of information compressed in there :D

I made a pendant tonight that I'm pretty sure is a lot more successful than my previous efforts.

Vicki B. 2011-02-25 11:21am

Ok - just got my copy and I have to say: This a beautifully written tutorial full of information and very clearly illustrated. I do think the techniques apply to soft glass not just for implosions, but also for other cane applications. Your work is beautiful and this tut should serve as a great inspiration! Thanks

That is beautiful Ron

giapet 2011-03-15 7:46am

Looking forward to the new add-on. Thanks so much for continuing to WOW us all!

Vicki B. 2011-03-16 5:17am

How does one receive the supplements, please?

R4GlassStudio 2011-03-16 6:22am

Hi Vicki!
They get sent out to everyone as soon as they are ready. There hasn't been one since you got the ebook. The one adding reds will go out in a week or so. When I do the add-on, I add the extra pages to the main tutorial and send it out complete. That way everyone has one file, rather than a bunch of smaller files.
Thanks,
Ron

Vicki B. 2011-03-17 6:58am

Thanks Ron,

It's a great tut as everyone else has said!

valjean 2011-03-18 7:02pm

So if someone is interested in buying it, should they wait till you finish the add-on or go ahead and purchase now?
Thanks......Val

R4GlassStudio 2011-03-21 5:09am

No need to wait.. the add-on goes out when it is ready. I have lots going on this week, so it may not go out until next week.
Ron

Dasi 2011-03-23 9:31am

What a fun tutorial. Ron keeps sending out more info to update the tutorial. Plus, a marble that is worth the cost of the tutorial if you were to buy the marble at a show.... it is a no brainer.....

SadiesJewels 2011-03-23 11:35am

Yes a very good tutorial ... but you have to get the marble (and ornament outstanding from that tut) to not feel a bit put out!

R4GlassStudio 2011-03-28 7:29am

SadiesJewels.... Ornament and Marble heading your way today. Thanks for hanging on. I am still running about 3 weeks out marbles.
Thanks everyone!

Vicki B. 2011-03-31 1:24pm

I received my marble today and it is exquisite! Don't know how you knew blue is my fav, but you did, and this marble is more than worth the price of the tutorial. I must be missing this information somehow, but do you sell these marbles somewhere as well? They are really gorgeous - perfectly executed of course too. Thanks so much.

SadiesJewels 2011-03-31 8:56pm

I got my ornament and marble yesterday (could even be the one above?) ... both exquisite and yes, worth the wait!

Thanks Ron.

Ron is usually flying on the weekends and doesn't always get a chance to check in, so it might be Monday before he gets back to you with the tutorial if he is out of town at a show.

BTW I checked out your ETSY and you make some great flower marbles already, can't wait to see what you do once you read this great tutorial. :waving:
