Help me identify a stone

I am trying to figure out the name of some beads I found and need to find again..they are a milky white and somewhat see through..they were not expensive enough to be moonstone..the strand i bought were round and probably not as milky and grey as moonstone..definitely seem man made..they might have the word opal in the name but again they were not that expensive but they were sold with all the other semi prescious stones..any ideas???

Sounds like opalite. It's manmade but a lot of suppliers from China call it moonstone. Very pretty.

I've heard something like that called sea opal too.
