I'll have to try it some more. I only got a quarter pound to try it.

effemess 2016-06-12 10:33am

I bumped it because its so interesting and was at risk of being forgotten :)

Cosmo 2016-06-14 6:05am

My wife wore that P-Funk heart to her breast cancer support group. Now I have to make 15 more... :D

PennyLane 2016-06-14 7:15am

I guess someone liked the pink,LOL I was playing with some Persimmon strike the other day, a nice pinkish, maybe discontinued though. I wish they would stop retiring so many colors every year.
Should be a good testing of the PFunk, please post your results.

Cosmo 2016-06-14 12:13pm

Tequila Sunrise is still my favorite pink I think.

PennyLane 2016-06-14 2:26pm

Will have to go and find a rod.

I'd be happy to send you a bit of Tequila Sunrise if you want to try it

PennyLane 2016-07-21 8:36am

Hey Susan, you are so kind and thoughtful. All I had to do was look on the shelf for the Tequila. Thank you so very much for offering. I should have communicated better.

no worries! Just doing my part to enable others on the dark side... hahaha

I went through my pinks, and made a list of colors to test out. Will be working on a few this weekend.

KJohn 2016-07-22 9:06pm

Yes, Susan did that to me once! She had cookies, too.

Love to see more pinks, Susan. This is such a great thread. Thanks for posting your results.

LOL I NEED to make some boro time this week. Good for the soul and all that....

In the meantime, here are some I have done in the past, with pinks.

Base of clear or solid with mostly exotic grapefruit wraps, Magpie hippie chick frit and dots of clear. The ligher ones are butterscotch, I believe. I can't seem to duplicate this. Will have to try again now.

Thanks for continuing to build this reference thread! I'm just back at my torch after over a year away and poring over the forums for inspiration and information. I can't tell you how many times I said "WOW!" out loud while looking at these gorgeous pinks. I think I may have a rod or two of some of these colors from the box of shorts I bought from you four years ago, Susan! Now I'm going to play! I appreciate your generous sharing of your time and knowledge.

Warm regards,
Bretta
